Absolutely delicious! The injera was perfectly spongy, the food was delicious and the kitfo was rich and comforting. Warm, welcoming service and an authentic taste of Ethiopian culture. I’ll definitely be back!

Looking for an authentic and delicious Ethiopian restaurant in Portland?? This is it! Good vibes all around. Love the fresh roses. The server who took my order was helpful and patient with my questions. We enjoyed both of the vegetable combinations and the lamb Derek tibs. So good and reasonable prices for the amount of food!

Delicious aberus combination, lamb awaze tibs, key wot. Highly recommend the awaze tibs, sizzling and crisp, straight from the fast iron onto the plate. very fluffy injera as well.Tables are well spaced out. There were small vases with roses at each table, which was a nice touch

Best Ethiopian food in the NE!!! Their vegetarian combo is flavorful, spicy and their injera is perfect.

I’m happy that they specify their injira is gluten-free! We ordered takeout. The food was ready on time. Splitting three dishes between two people, we had plenty of leftovers. Would highly recommend for quality Ethiopian food.
